As one of the most trusted children's
brands ELC were approached by the Pre-School Learning
Alliance to support them in communicating the Government's
"Early Learning Goals" to both professionals and parents.
We have created the resource pack for play group leaders
and a handy guide for parents to the goals.
Our parents guide describes how learning through play
helps to develop a child's social and emotional development,
and encourages them to explore the world in which they
live.
The Pre-School Learning Alliance is a national educational
charity which works with young children and families through
its thousands of member pre-schools and playgroups in
England.
The Alliance publishes a wide range of resources for people
interested in children's early learning. The Play Group
Leader's Resource Pack can be obtained from the Pre-School
Learning Alliance (at a cost of £36 per pack) at: 69 King's
